Debbie's Dry Cleaning
A webcomic about a magical seamstress in San Francisco who moonlights as a matchmaker for six of her clients. Made with friends Tiajha Nakahara and Kevin Lin — the three of them hand-painted over 150 watercolors for the project, posting the story in bite-sized installments on Instagram every Tuesday and Thursday.
Now running an encore: scanning the original watercolors and using them as image prompts to bring the artwork to life as "moving comics," testing new AI filmmaking tools within an already-established visual style.
